The criticalness of QA/QC.
Because accurate measurement requires more than just a calibrated instrument.
To build better data centers, you get what you expect by what you inspect.

Sensor accuracy guaranteed.
20% of sensors have installation deficiencies.
Here to be your trusted QA/QC partner.
Purchasing a calibrated sensor does not guarantee measurement accuracy. Sensors must also be the correct type and range, set to match system/site parameters, installed in the right place and orientation by manufacturer instructions, wired, and programmed to the BMS to provide reliable and accurate data. The right sensor manufacturer, instrument (accuracy, range, output signal type, materials), and installation location is critical to accuracy.
We have worked with owners and contractors on over 160 construction projects (and counting), performing QA/QC audits of BMS systems and equipment. We've inspected over 13,500 devices (Control Panels, Actuators, VFDs, and Sensors) during construction of new data centers and completed factory audits on multiple types of HVAC systems (AHUs, MUAs, CRAHs, Chillers, etc.). SCI can help to avoid these pitfalls.
SCI’s QA/QC survey/consultation on data center BMS sensors focuses on determining if installed sensors and associated control systems are installed per manufacturer guidelines in a manner that optimizes sensor measurement and meets the designed intent. We partner with in-house teams to identify potential issues affecting system performance and address ongoing problems; by design, health checks do not impact data center operations.
